Team GFRP 2027 Weapon: A 1/10 Stock-Class Oval Midget Kit
Team GFRP has announced the 2027 Weapon Midget Car Kit, part number GFR-7131, a 1/10 scale kit for stock-class oval racing. Team GFRP lists it at $575. It is built on the 2025 Weapon, with upgrades the company says come from its 2026 RCCB winning midget.
What's new
Team GFRP describes the kit as a stock racing platform that keeps the dual bell crank steering layout of the earlier Weapon. Listed updates include 70mm molded arms, new-style caster blocks aimed at steering response, and a wider outer rear molded arm that is 75mm long.
At the rear, the shock tower has twice as many shock mounting options. The kit also lists new 0/3 toe blocks and diff height adjusters paired with new plunge rear axles.
Drivetrain and included parts
The drivetrain uses the 2025 layback transmission with a 39T idler gear. The kit includes a body, a cage and headers, the last of which are there for a more realistic look. The sources we read did not give a full parts list, so check the manufacturer page before ordering.
