GP3D A2K Boosted: A 1/10 4WD Replica Buggy Kit Built From 3D-Printed Parts
GP3D has announced the A2K Boosted 4WD Replica Full Kit, a 1/10 scale four-wheel-drive buggy kit that uses a chain drivetrain and twin vertical chassis rails. The kit leans on replica-style parts, including FRP chassis plates and a clear body, wing and gear cover, and the plastic parts are 3D printed.
What is in the kit
The kit includes FRP chassis plates, towers and trays, a clear body with wing and gear cover, a gold anodized rear guard, 12mm hex wheel adapters, and 2.2 inch gold electroplated dished wheels. Narrow and wide (saddle) chassis plates are both supplied, along with an original-style upper battery plate and a configuration that accepts 2S LiPo batteries. Hardware is metric (M2, M2.5 and M3).
Plastic parts are 3D printed in orange and black Prusa PCBlend. The drivetrain uses a ladder-style chain drive with improved ball differentials front and rear, and the shocks are alloy and oil filled.
Price and availability
Reports conflict on price. Big Squid RC lists the kit at $610, while the GP3D store page shows AUD $850.00, which may explain part of the difference if the figures are in different currencies. Check the store page for the current price in your currency.
The store page lists the kit as pre-order only, with first kits pencilled in for around February or March 2027, possibly earlier if production goes faster. Plastic spares and the assembly manual are listed as coming soon. A separate US tribute variant is sold through another seller and adds split front upper arms, anti-roll bars, blacked-out plastics and a sticker sheet.
What you will need
This is a full build kit without electronics. The store page says buyers need to supply paint for the body and wing, electronics, pinion and spur gears, and tires. The 2S LiPo-compatible battery configuration suggests a 2S pack, but the page does not state a required motor, ESC or servo.
This kit is not tracked in the RC Saver price grid. The link below goes to the GP3D store product page.
